Performance Run Coaching in Brookfield & Mequon
Running goals are personal. Your training should be too.
At Breathe in Motion, our Performance Run Coaching Membership is designed for runners who want more than a generic training plan pulled from an app. Your program is built and adjusted by a Doctor of Physical Therapy who understands running mechanics, training load, injury prevention, strength, and long term performance.
Whether you are preparing for your first race, chasing a new PR, returning to consistent running, or simply want expert guidance behind your training, we help you build a plan that fits your body, your schedule, and your goals.
Our Performance Run Coaching is available for runners throughout the Milwaukee metro area & beyond with virtual visit options.

Run Coaching That Looks at the Whole Runner
A good running program is more than a weekly mileage number.
Your training needs to account for where you are starting, where you want to go, how your body responds to load, and what else is happening in your life.
Because your run coach is also a Doctor of Physical Therapy, we can look at your training through both a performance and injury prevention lens.
That means your program can account for factors such as previous injuries, current aches and pains, training history, race goals, recovery, strength needs, and changes in how your body responds throughout the training cycle.
The goal is not simply to get you through your next race.
We want to help you become a stronger, more resilient runner for the long game.

Choose Your Performance Run Coaching Membership
Tier 1: $199/month
Tier 1 is designed for runners who want individualized running programming, expert guidance, and ongoing adjustments throughout their training cycle.
Your membership includes:
- A 55 minute initial consultation with your run coach (in person or virtual options)
- A personalized running program delivered through the TrainHeroic training platform
- Monthly 30 minute coaching check ins beginning after your first month (in person or virtual options)
- Monthly program adjustments based on your progress, training demands, race schedule, or injuries
- Communication with your coach, with responses provided within 24 hours during business hours
This option works well for runners who already have a strength routine they feel confident in but want a more strategic and individualized approach to their running.
Tier 2: $349/month
Tier 2 includes everything in Tier 1, plus individualized strength and stability programming designed specifically for runners.
Your strength programming is delivered through TrainHeroic alongside your running plan, giving you one place to access your full training program.
Your strength plan may focus on areas such as:
- Single leg strength and control
- Calf and foot capacity
- Hip and glute strength
- Core stability
- Running specific power
- Injury prevention
- Performance enhancement
Tier 2 is ideal for runners who want their running and strength programs working together instead of trying to piece together separate plans on their own. Instead of guessing when to lift, how much to do, or what exercises make sense during a race build, you have a plan designed around the entire training cycle.
What Happens If You Get Injured?
One of the biggest advantages of working with a run coach who is also a Doctor of Physical Therapy is having someone who understands both performance and injury.
If pain or an injury begins affecting your ability to follow your running program, tell your coach as soon as possible. Please tell your run coach about any new pain, injury, illness, or significant change in your health that could affect your training.
Depending on your situation, we may adjust your training, pause your run coaching membership, or discuss transitioning temporarily into physical therapy or personal training when appropriate. Performance Run Coaching does not replace medical evaluation or treatment when those services are necessary.
Our goal is to keep the bigger picture in mind instead of encouraging you to push through something that needs additional attention.
Personal training and physical therapy are separate from your Performance Run Coaching Membership and may require additional fees.
Your Goals. Your Training. Your Body.
Every runner responds differently to training.
That is why we do not promise specific finishing times, race results, or performance improvements.
What we can provide is an individualized plan, expert coaching, thoughtful adjustments, and a training approach that considers both your performance goals and the health of the person doing the running.
Whether you are training for your first 5K, preparing for a half marathon, chasing a marathon PR, or simply trying to become a more consistent runner, your program should feel like it was built for you.
Because it was.
